181,000 Screaming Lions and Bills Fans Later...

...I'm back in Notre Dame.

Pulled off an epic 5.25 hour stopless trek across Ohio and Indiana last night to get here, but I didn't fall asleep - never really actually came close - and now we've reached what I'm hoping is the shortest week of all time.

The Penn State game was so loud and so intense my ears were still ringing at 2:00 that night. Granted, Jim Tressel cost his team their second loss of the season with his unwillingness to throw the ball deep early, but with the way Penn State's defense was playing, that might not have exactly worked out anyway. If Michael Robinson doesn't turn the ball over, they can win out the rest of the season.

The Bills game was such a cool experience - I was three rows back from the endzone the Dolphins were driving towards in the fourth quarter - that I didn't even mind Ronnie's fumble on the fifteen when Gus was about to complete an epic, one-legged comeback over a 17-0 halftime deficit.

(Okay, I did. I'll always carry that grudge with me, no matter how well Ronnie does the rest of his career. But still, Orchard Park is as quirky and odd of a place to have an NFL stadium as you could ever choose.)

We'll get into some details about one of the best spans of 24 hours I've had in some time, but that'll have to come after my American Lit exam at 1:30. Just everyone remember:

Three days until The Weekend of No Consequence Begins.

Until the Fall of Troy? A scant five. Bob Costa will get you excited if you aren't already (courtesy of Jeff Tillett). Four Heisman candidates on the field. A 27-game winning streak and a potential AP Title Threepeat on the line.

Even after nearly killing myself watching it this weekend, I'm most definitely ready for some football.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be
actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward
for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!
