I thought they might ruin some of the finer points of Wedding Crashers with the Uncorked edition, but we watched it Tuesday night split-screen with the Orange Bowl, and there's nothing taken away from it. The jokes they add are solid - most of them at the Cleary wedding, a few with Randolph the servant - and even if you don't like them, there's an option of just watching the original theatrical version we all fell in love with in the first place.
It's loaded with extras I haven't got to sink my teeth into yet, including a listing of all the Rules of Wedding Crash, an Owen and Vince commentary and lots of deleted scenes I'm sure are worthwhile. A detailed report after I delve into it, but know your twenty bucks of hard-earned Christmas money won't be wasted.
Do we have a consensus yay/nay on the extended version?
