Latest BEST IDEA EVER

Chad and I were debating last night who would win a dance-off, Ren McCormick (Kevin Bacon's character from Footloose) or Usher. Now the easy money says Usher, but are you 100% sure, and by limiting it those two, aren't we slapping the King of Pop, Patrick Swayze, John Travolta and Christopher Walken in the face?

So Pete and I came up with the idea, in the spirit of March, for a media-wide tournament of the best dancing performance ever. I need you to submit the best dance performances you've ever seen from a movie, TV show or music video. If it was at an awards show, that's TV, so you're fine. Just a few rules to go by:

1) Each person can only be nominated one time - Meaning, we're going to have to come up with a choice of which Michael Jackson and Usher video would be best for the tournament.

2) Pairs and Groups Can Be Entered As One - Since I hardly think it's fair to seperate Swayze and Jennifer Gray for their work in Dirty Dancing, we'll allow couples or entire dance troupes to be nominated.

Once we gather all the suggestions and get the seedings decided (over Spring Break, if not before), we'll get the brackets up on here and have a vote-off of who truly has put out the greatest dancing performance of all time.

So I ask of you now, use the slick little comment button located directly below me and post as many ideas as you get, whenever they come to your head. Repeats are fine, as they'll assure we make sure the more popular entries get in with the seed they deserve.
